The Steel Cage Challange
Three gamers enter, one gamer leaves!
THE RULES
The Challenge:
Build a new army from the ground up. Punch in and take on the other gamers.
Crush their army, drive them before you and brag to everyone on the forums of your victory. Each stage will have a standard to meet, with all of the stages leading up to a 1750 point, slug fest.
The Stakes:
Each stage will have a winner and a looser and the looser will have to complete some task for the winner. The overall winner gets the honor if wearing the Punch In Challenge Belt and all the bragging rights that go with it.
Round 1: The Monster Modeler Build Off
Stage one: “Dude, wash my car!”
The Challenge: Build a 750 point playable army
The Stakes: The looser washes the winner’s car.
Stage two: “Ode to a 40k widow.”
The Challenge: Expand your army to 1200 points
The Stakes: The looser and his wife take the winner’s wife out to the
chick flick of her choice. The winner gets to stay home
and paint models in utter peace and quiet.
Stage three: “My grass is greener.”
The Challenge: Expand you army to all of its 1750 Punch In glory.
The Stakes: The looser mows the winner’s grass
Round 2: 40K Radio Idol
The Challenge: Get your army painted and ready to punch in!
The Stakes: The looser faces the Jar Jar paint ball gun firing squad.
Because if you can’t paint you models we’ll just have to
paint you.
The winner will be determined by voting for each army on the forums!
Round 3: There can be only one!
Stage one: It’s East vs. West in a best of five playoff!
The winners will face each other in the finals.
Stage two: Final jeopardy! The last two gamers face off at center ice for
The Big Match, The Barrage in the Basement, the Smack down in the
Suburbs.
The winner is ….The Punch In Champion of the world!!
*or at least Erie, Pa. Which is like owning the horse in a one horse town
