this every other week format you guys are now doing has made me realise how much i like your podcast compared to everybody else’s. i have literally been on itunes everyday (up to 3 times a day) hoping that this bad boy was going to be uploaded! love the show! keep doing what you do

Great show as ever guys, although a bit on the chaotic side of things…cause of the Nids I guess
Just to let you know, I play Tyranids now and then and at first I did not mean to, but after I finished to listen to the download I went out and bought the new book

All those living weapons and things that you were talking about inthe show are nothing new. The desriptions are the same as the ones that were around in 2nd edition, they just added the old fuff to them again. even the Myseti spore drop pods were from 2nd edition. Armocast made the models for them back then.
Nice to see the old suff beng dug back out again though.

Pirate Metal Troy, your link showed only that there are two acceptable pronunciations for the same definition. Guess you should have read the whole entry, and listened to all three pronunciations before scolding Scott.

a further note on pronounciation it is dessicator grubs (ie desicate, to dry out) not disector grubs, minor issue but things like that do bug people, like pilnth in the advert rather than plinth.
Anyone figue a forgeworld hyrodule as a tyrannofex??

I guess that you can continue to use the current monstrous creature weapons like venom cannons as the new bigger versions as the mc entries only have the option of the big versions

Just so you guys know on the subject of nids, the Hive Tyrant can actually take more than one ‘command’ ability. So if you’re willing to fork out the points, you can take the Hive Commander rule alongside Old Adversary and Indescribable Horror…
