Episode 42 – “WTF?!”

Hack12 joins us on this episode. Unfortunately none of us knew that it was going to be the worst show ever! Seriously, I am not kidding…I’d probably skip this one…..it’s pretty bad. Maybe it would be better to download last weeks show again and listen to that.

Give a little love to the Chem Cannon – it’s STR 1, totally defensive. Take a hvy bolter or multi melta. It’s fast, run it 12″ toward the big tough unload with the stubber and chem cannon as defensive and then fire the multimelta.

haha, at about the 44min. mark…turned into the greatest show ever. Never heard Scott scream into the mic…I laughed my arse off.

For the Record, I am Zune owner #4 I suppose…heard every episode on my Zune…the wife has one too, so there’s 5. I’ll take it over Apple’s paperweight any day. I prefer my tech toys from a real computer company. Awesome show, though. The comment about the guy that bought 47 Valkyries almost made me drive off the road.

Well at least you warned us. It did go a bit Dice Like Thunder though, which I can understand might be the style some listeners like but not what I’ve come to expect from 40k radio
At least Scott tried to keep it on topic and Hack12’s opinions on the game were interesting too.
The topic train definitely got derailed on this episode though – it must be because you’re going through the IG codex, you’re only going to hit 50% of the time ;P

Yeah I’m in Germany too but I wish I would have stayed up for this one!
Too bad I wasn’t there, but European timed shows are a good idea.

I’d have to agree about the worst show ever, though only because the rest are so damn good. Also to answer a question you’ve asked, yes I have seen rough riders used. However there is a caveat, I have never seen the actual rough rider miniatures used.
I saw a praetorian army with converted roughriders with lances that used them as basically a torpedo. Slowed me down, killed some of my guys and gave the rest of his army a little more time to shoot.
The second army was a converted tallarn army, using meltagun equipped roughriders like you would use shooty bikes.

A thought. You said the Eldar are a low tiered army, but mech Eldar are one of the best armies right now, as shown by the recent UK GT.

2 of the top 10 and 12 of the top 50 were Eldar, and most probably had jetbike seer councils and lots of mech.
Lots of Eldar units suck, and 3 falcon lists aren’t going to cut it, but a meched up Eldar army built around a seer council is clearly a but kicking army.
