Episode 40 – “40-UK”

This week we had a special live show time to accommodate our UK Listeners! Hence the Union Jack there in the picture.
Spencer, Scott and Chipley have a chance to dive into the new Imperial Guard codex before it hits the shelves! I have to say the new codex is just Ace! We figured the best place to start would be with Troops………millions of them! Add in The Pit Crew Review and a ton of News and Bob’s you uncle!

Once again a great show. But I am a UK listener and loves the live show, but I was unaware of a UK accomadated show. So in future would it be possible for some notice of these UK timed shows?
It would be imcreadable helpful, once again great show.

Yeah same here, I normally go on there to chat before I go to bed on saturday and I literally got on as soon as you finished. Could I suggest a mailing list of when/if shows are going to be done?

It WAS mentioned in, I believe, the previous podcast? I think that’s where I heard it anyway.
But yeah, great show guys, I loved it. and thanks for putting up with my drunken ramblings when I called in at the bar.

Join the freebootaz and you will see the light! Joke aside, there is a ton of stuff for the members. And were discussing the UK show and how it will work in the future.
I love the Hanging at the bar episodes they record after the normal show where the listeners can call in. Twice as much 40k radio podcast each week. When you join you get access to all of them.

Great show, but as with everyone, would have loved a blog post or something during the week as a heads up for the UK timed show. Will definitely listen live for future similar shows

They did post the special time on their post “Where the hell is 40K Radio.” At the very end is says “We will see all of you next week April 18th at a Special Time of 2PM EST for the UK Friendly Show!”

Great show again guys.
With regards the IG codex I’m looking forward to hearing your opinions on the Psyker Choir. All I’ll say is beware the Assassin/Psyker combo and if you’re playing with SM vs IG pack a librarian.
I’d suggest making the live UK show a little later approx. 9pm GMT because some of us UK listeners have young ‘uns that need to be put to bed before we can listen in.
I missed the mention of the live UK time too – I think I might have to become a freeboota, I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.

I think they’re being far too optmistic with the IG codex. It’s really a sub-par book.

Hi Guys,
Great show and thanks for making the effort for those of us over here in the UK. I agree that it might be a good idea if you could make it just a little later for those of us who have rug rats.
