ROCK ON… Great to see you back… keep up the good work

2

Hey guys, great to see the new show post.

There does appear to be an issue with the link, tho – I can’t download the podcast from the site nor from iTunes.

3

is there a live show? or is it download only?

4

Wooh! Been waiting for this.

5

George’s dog is a greyhound.

6

dalmation, greyhound

7

Worth a shot-

Romeo has a Dalmation I believe (barked in the 1st intro episode if memory serves me correctly). – The dreaded guard dog of 40k radio.

8

Sweet, keep it up!

Still haven’t gotten a response to my questions/email I sent you about renewing my subscription…

9

romeo has a dalmation

10

Mutts! They both have mutts!

11

Awesome! Great to have the show back.
I recently purchased a freebootaz membership and I’m waiting to gain access to the forums.
I hope soon!

12

best 40k radio show in a year as far as listenability.

Remember by the time Sammy Hagar came along (and he is a good musician on his own right) David Lee Roth was well past his prime and had offered nothing but suck to Van Halen for a long time. The Rock Star mentality really trashed him. The parallels to the old host are clear.

13

Romeo has a dalmation!

14

Darn, it looks like I missed the opportunity to win the Games Day tickets.

good show guys. I like the rumor section.

I think one of the dog was a Golden Doodle and the other is a Chawawa.

No one was a Dalmatian.

17

Great to see a show posted so quickly.. 40k radio is back!

18

You guys actually deleted my post? Are you serious?

So you ‘borrow’ an idea from someone else and when he says something, in joking, you delete the post. I see how the new 40K Radio treats fans!

I’ll be sure to mention that in each and every one of my reviews of your podcasts.

Nice start to the show guys!

19

I liked the show. You’re off to a GREAT start. Keep’em coming.

20

@ eviled209, your post was auto deleted because it was an advertisment for your blog. Feel free to post without pointing out your personal blog address and it will not be deleted as spam. If you would like to advertise your site then please email us and we can send you a price sheet. Thank you

@Romeo

I see. I stand corrected! Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it and I retract me previous statement.

I do really want you guys to do well and I am glad to see 40K Radio back on the air!

Thanks again!

When you review rules, you should give the appropriate page number. I think that you are incorrect about contesting objectives. All I could find is on p.91 MRB “… at least one of your scoring units, and no enemy unit, whether scoring or not within 3″ of it.” If I missed something please provide a page number. Also, p.62 states wrecks are both difficult and dangerous terrain (always, not just when falling back).

23

Good Job Guys. Glad your back

24

in case i won i have a boota account pandamn

25

German Shepard,Dalmation

26

Great show, though the sound quality was a bit iffy the first half an hour or so (got better over time)! And I think both have dachshunds.

27

I signed up for a boota membership on the 20th of july and I haven’t been activated yet. I can’t find any contact information for support for that. Who could I contact about that?

28

OK, I am sure the correct answers have already been given, but let’s go with Great Dane for George, and poodle for Romeo……

29

on the subject of pre measureing in my games we allredy pre measure as wat wood be the point of a ges range weapon yes it makes it harder than normal but add in scater dice and the chance of actually hitting wat your aming at drop even more macking you less inclined to feald them but whith pre measureing the effectiveness of all your shooting gows up as you can see wher you can and cant shoot the ges range weapon becomes a hammer blow if it his that can snatch victory from defeat and makes it much more tempting to feald and its low hit rate will see less stuff shooting it back or if the dice are on your side have all the big guns shooting it to mack it die whilst every one els is left alone.

30

Hey guys… I can’t go, so am not entering the contest. Just wanted to let you know I really like the new show, everybody seems great, the format is awesome. This might be the only podcast I ever stick with after a major change like this!

31

A good show guys, thanks. There was a marked improvement on the production values of the first and solid content. Personally I’d only call it at about 18% less umms and errrs but better none-the-less.

I like the cast, and to be honest I’d be more than happy if Romeo finds the time and desire to be a regular presenter, he’s clearly got his head screwed on about the game and the hobby and I’m not sure he’s mentioned Battle Foam once after the first discussion. In fact he could talk about it a little (LITTLE) more in my mind.

Thanks!

32

Good to hear the show back on the airwaves! So far so good! Keep at it guys!

Todosi

PS, George, it’s pronounced Kie-mare-uh. ;)

33

Ok the show wasn’t that but, you gotta lose the Rick’s Rant at the end. Gotta lose it.

34

I love Rick’s rant. Why don’t you like it Aarkon? Are you a complainer?

35

Welcome back! Haven’t listened to either show, but hey – welcome back anyway!

36

New to 40K…
While searching the vastness of the web I stumble on 40K radio…
Freakin cool !!!!
And I can listen at work !!!!

Long live the Tau !!!!

37

HEY! We, “se” Germans also listening to your great Radio show! :-)
Good work! Keep it up guys :-)

38

Epistolary is an upgrade for a space marine librarian that allows you to use 2 psychic powers. and about the arc of guns on tanks the faq for the rulebook on the second page it mentions the rule on that and the first part of the answer reads
“Remember that the rule is: if it looks like you can point the gun at it, then you can, even if it’s glued in place’” and it goes on to say that those rules are just a guideline. so if you can point the hull mounted gun at the target you can shoot at it.

39

A Space Marine Librarian with the Epistolary upgrade can use two psychic powers in one turn, same thing is true of a Space Wolves Rune Priest with Master of Runes upgrades. both upgrades add 50 points to the total cost of the model. You gotta love Army Builder for looking up trivial information.

40

New show was great!! Loved everything. Really liked the rant at the end. And the over looked rules segment pointed out a few mistakes our grouo regularly makes. Tottaly awsome !!

41

Chris Sladie Is the winner of the tickets for Games Day! You got both dogs right and we would love to send out your prizes. Can you please call me tomorrow so I can get your address for mailing.

The number is 480-747-0230

You can also email the information to info@battlefoam.com or info@40kradio.com

Thanks and congrats.

40K Radio Staff.

42

43

Just wanted to say great job, guys! I’ll be following this new program just as avidly as the old.

BEST SHOW EVER

44

Great job on the new show!

Some really interesting stuff – looking forward to what’s to come.

Best of Luck & keep up the good work.

45

nm im psyched to see the show back

46

To Romeo and crew. Glad to have the show back. Just a few glitches (but what episode of 40K didn’t have glitches in the past!) that were very minor. Love the new “Aliens” intro. Keep up the good work.

47

I will admit I was skeptical at first about the new 40k Radio, but you guys blew me away. I think you really kept the spirit of the original show, even with new hosts. Great work! Can’t wait for the next show to come out this weekend!

48

If you are willing to buy a house, you would have to get the home loans. Furthermore, my mother always takes a commercial loan, which seems to be really fast.

49

Listened the the first show yesterday and enjoyed it. I think you’re off to a good start.

Can you guys get some acoustic baffles or maybe put some blankets up around the room? It sounds like you’re talking in a bathroom. You need to adjust the audio too, get headsets or put the mics closer to your mouths. Everyone should be at the same volume, not one guy considerably louder than others. I literally had to jack the volume up to 100% in my car to get your audio at a normal level (where other podcasts hover around the 50% mark). These are minor quibbles (and maybe I’m the only one). Looking forward to your next one.

50

I couldn’t resist commenting. :)

51

Can someone site a page number for assaulting units in the same phase once their transport has been destroyed?

Am I interpreting that correctly? Assault a rhino, destroy it, then assault the occupants all in the same assault phase?

52

he only got one dog correct…in fact he only posted one dog…

he should win one ticket, and the first person to get the other right should get the other one…

53

[...] did an intro show #1 a few weeks ago but we were less than impressed. But they have now done shows #2 and #3 and both have been very good. Without Spencer the show lacks a bit of energy but is, so far [...]

54

Sammy Hagar blows! DLR = best front man ever.

55

Hey Guys, new listener, been through all of the ‘casts now.
I’m a returning player after a very long hiatus of around a decade, and I think it was this episode that you mentioned that DLT did a Beginners Tips and Tactics show. Would you be kind enough to point me in the direction, as I would really like to not get my ass handed to me too badly in my first returning game….

Thanks from the UK guys.
Jim
